FREEDOM to do it or not to do it



Last time, one of my friend confessed that he got his girl. I’m talking about the girl thing. *sigh* I was shocked and disappointed because I believe that things like that should be kept private since it’s too personal and we are living in a non-liberated society.

For me, it doesn’t matter if everyone is doing it or if no one is doing it. What matters is how we feel tomorrow and how we feel a years down the line looking back. (mga alaala ng kahapon moment). It’s not about the guy or our parents. It’s about us, our mind, heart and body. =)

Having coitus is not about the moment; it’s about the things that come after. I mean the consequences our physical self could possibly endure. Such as:

• STD’s
  
• Pregnancy (this alone is a new stuff that we may not be ready to deal with).
  
• Regrets (remember that we can’t take it back).
  
  
  Yes, it’s true that we are growing up, and we are making our OWN decision and having new experiences. Let’s just remember that in this growth, we don’t only have the freedom to have sex. We also have the freedom to say no. =)
